Welcome to our Easter Celebration and a warm welcome to our families,

visitors and friends

Happy, and Grace-filled Easter! Christ is risen; He is alive!! Alleluia!!!
May we all rise up with Him to the new life of Easter;

a life of grace and peace, love and compassion!

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Christ is really present in the Blessed Sacrament; come and talk heart to heart with Him, either on Wed (10am-12noon) or Sat after 10am Mass until 12.30pm. There will be 24hours continuous Adoration on 5th April after 9.15am Mass until 10am Saturday 6th April. If you are able, please sign the clipboard at the back of the Church so that we can be sure that there will always be someone with Our Lord.

First Friday Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be held in the Church this Friday 5th April. It will start at 2.30pm with Rosary, 3pm Divine Mercy Chaplet and Exposition, 3.30pm Mass. All are welcome to join us.

First Saturday Devotions to the Immaculate Heart of Mary  On the first Saturday of each month a service will be held 11.30-12.30pm in the Church. . Everyone is welcome to join us in prayer next Saturday 6th April.

Last weeks collections  £1,721.89,  Your Easter offering is for our Priests at St John’s. We are ever so grateful. Thank you for your continued generosity and also to those people who pay by standing order and contactless.

Easter Vigil  We warmly welcome Shola Allisons, Regina Bello, Monai Elliott, Pauline Mbati, Claire Dysart, Cecilia Chaniwa, Sean Kennedy, Mira Lukosevicius who were Baptized, received and Confirmed and Mindaugas Lukosevicius, Mirbelys Rangel, Ehimare Simon Ahhiwu, Darren Coulson, Mabel Tembo-Worburton, Tonia Onyezia, Harrison and Taylor who were received and Confirmed at the Easter Vigil.

The Divine Mercy Novena  Divine Mercy Sunday is the Sunday following Easter, this year 7th April. The novena starts on Good Friday and ends on the following Saturday. In 1935 Our Lord asked St Faustina to promote the Divine Mercy Chaplet and particularly to say it as a novena before Divine Mercy Sunday. You are most welcome to join us for the Chaplet of     Divine Mercy as a novena online via the parish website, follow the “Divine Mercy Chaplet” link at 3pm for about 15 minutes (2pm on Good Friday)

Divine Mercy Sunday  There will be a service at 3pm at St John’s Church.

Baptism We welcome into our parish family Raphael Sayers who will be baptized on Tuesday. Application forms for      Baptism are available from the back of the Church or the parish office. Families need to attend a talk before the baptism. Please phone/email the office if you wish to attend (Next session is Monday 8th April).

Day by Day Booklets  for the Easter season are available at the back of the Church £1.

St Katherine’s, Shorne There will be no Saturday Mass at St Katherine’s next Saturday 6th April.

Wednesday Tea/Coffee  Refreshments are served in the Coffee bar after 12 noon Mass. All welcome.

Booking Mass IntentionsEnvelopes for Masses are available at the back of the Church, write the intention and put the stipend in the envelope. Please do not use the Dona Machine for Mass stipends.

Altar servers Rally at The Friars, Aylesford on May Day bank holiday 6th May. Mass will be celebrated at 11.30am.     Everyone is welcome to attend especially our servers, families and friends. Altar servers are encouraged to attend with    family and friends.

Padre Pio Prayer Group each Tuesday  straight after 9.15am Mass in the Cry Chapel. All welcome to join us in prayer. We especially remember our sick friends and family.

Divine Mercy Chaplet The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be online at 3pm Monday – Friday. Click here for how to join the online meetings as well as the prayers if you wish to say the Chaplet privately.

Come and Rest in Me  is a contemplative group that meets around the Word of God on Wednesdays 8-9pm. Click here for the zoom link.
