Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion or call 07405803862. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in hospital & those who care for them and their families. Please, when on admission in the hospital or care home, volunteer the information of your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.
May Devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary During May the Rosary will be recited 30 minutes before all Masses, especially for peace, joy, love in all our parishioners.
Next Week: MSP Mission Appeal Once a year the archdiocese gives the parish opportunity to support the work of the MSP. As a parish we can sponsor the training of a priest and the education of a girl or boy. Please help us with our appeal next weekend 25/26th May in aid of our missionary work. Envelopes are available at the back of the Church for your donations.
Rome The first World Children’s Day will take place in Rome on 26/27th May. Please remember in your prayers Fr Stephen and 26 children and parents who will be attending this event with children from all over the world with Pope Francis.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Christ is really present in the Blessed Sacrament; come and talk heart to heart with Him, either on Wed (10am-12noon) or Sat after 10am Mass until 12.30pm; or 1st Friday 24 hour Adoration
Wedding Our prayers and congratulations to Ashbeni Kugathas and Vithusan Soosaiaiyah on their wedding this weekend at St John’s. Please make an appointment to see the Parish Priest if you would like to get married at St John’s.
Marriage Banns Weronika Babiarz a parishioner will be marrying Lukasz Pawel Pietkowski in Poland. If anyone knows of any impediments to this union please inform Fr Moses.

Fr Vincent Omokpakpo msp Fr Vincent’s Induction Mass as Parish Priest will be held on Thursday 23rd May at 7pm at The Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, Brixton (SW9 0TQ). You are welcome to celebrate with him.
Foodbank Thank you for your generous donations last weekend. We were able to deliver 124.5 kg of much needed food & other essentials to help local families in need.
Day for Life There will be a Day for Life Novena, which will run from the 23 May to the Feast of the Visitation (31 May) and which will be available on the Bishops’ Conference website.

KSC Dinner Dance 3 August 5.30-9.30pm Dear Parishioner, We are delighted to invite you to KSC Dinner/Dance and Fund Raising event. Please see flyer for full details. We wish to raise funds for St John’s & Our Lady of the Assumption, Northfleet, particularly youth competitions. Tickets are £25 per person available from a member of the Knights. On the night there will be a grand raffle draw with great hampers and prizes. Please buy a ticket and enjoy a great evening with music, dance, relaxation and interaction.

Date for your diary We welcome back the popular Summer Concert featuring the Medway Singers along with the Meopham Brass Band on Saturday 13th July at 7.30pm. This fundraising event is for the Church Renovation project.
