Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion or call 07405803862. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in hospital & those who care for them and their families. Please, when on admission in the hospital or care home, volunteer the information of your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.

World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation Pope Francis has established 1st September, encouraging the Catholic community around the world to pray for our common home. The World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, celebrated on 1 September, kicks off the Season of Creation, a time of sustained prayer and action. It runs until 4th October, the feast of St Francis of Assisi and as a parish we will celebrate this time.
Baptism Application forms for Baptism are available from the back of the Church or the parish office. Families need to attend a talk before the baptism. Please phone/email the office if you wish to attend (Next session is Monday 14th Oct).
First Holy Communion Preparation for Children at Non Catholic Schools Application forms are now available at the back of the Church. Sr Elizabeth will start preparation classes on Saturday 28th September. Please return completed forms to the parish office or hand to one of the Priests

Foodbank We will be collecting donations for the Foodbank at all masses next weekend, 21/22nd Sept. The most needed items are Tinned Meat, Tinned Fish, Tinned Veg, Cereal Bars, Squash, Instant Noodles, Jam, Honey & Chocolate Spread.

Praying the Psalms Archbishop John has launched a campaign encouraging people to make praying the Psalms a part of their daily lives. He said ‘it is in the Psalms that you will find the Lord Jesus’.
