Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion or call 07405803862. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in hospital & those who care for them and their families. Please, when on admission in the          hospital or care home, volunteer the information of your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.

International Mass We are a living Church, we showed how blessed we are as a parish family in our celebration last   Sunday. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way with the catering, preparations and their active support and participation during the just concluded International Mass. Lets to this again next year! RCIA You are welcome to the Catholic Church Are you searching or want to review your faith or may be interested in joining the Catholic community, or wish to be Confirmed. A new course will start on Wednesday 2nd October. Please, do remember them all and the whole team in your prayers. However, if you feel inspired to journey with them on a more deeper and personal level, or perhaps feel inspired to join the team, particularly our previous RCIA candidates, please do pray about this and speak to either of the Priests, Catherine Gurney or Lucy Mateta.

Baptism We welcome into our parish family Jayson Balaz, Laura Buncikova Sidelkova, Anderson Akahome and Mia Seker who were baptized this weekend. Application forms for Baptism are available from the back of the Church or the parish office. Families need to   attend a talk before the baptism. Please phone/email the office if you wish to attend (Next session is Monday 14th Oct).

First Holy Communion Preparation for Children at Non Catholic Schools Application forms are now available at the back of the Church. Preparation classes start next Saturday 28th September. Please return completed forms to the parish office or hand to one of the Priests

Last weeks collections  £1,146.46. Catholic Agency for the Support of Evangelisation £257.49. Thank you for your      continued generosity and to those people who pay by standing order and contactless.

KSC Council 977 – 10th Anniversary Thanksgiving Mass on Saturday 28th September with a little celebration in the coffee bar afterwards. Please keep them in your prayers.

Foodbank We will be collecting donations for the Foodbank at all masses this weekend, 21/22nd Sept. The most needed items are Tinned Meat, Fish, Veg, Cereal Bars, Squash, Instant Noodles, Jam, Honey & Chocolate Spread. Thank you.

Afternoon for Readers to introduce the new translation for the Lectionary led by Bishop Paul Hendricks at St Thomas of Canterbury, CT1 2HJ on Sat 2nd Nov 2-4pm   

Parish Bazaar We will hold our first meeting next Wednesday, 30th Sept in the coffee bar @ 1pm. This years bazaar will be held at St John’s Comp School on Saturday 30th Nov.

St Faustina  During the Saturday 6pm Mass we are installing an image of St Faustina.

Singing Fr Stephen and some of our Parishioners have produced an inspiring song titled ‘The Magnificat’ sung in six different languages, English, Hausa, Polish, Tamil, Swahili and Igbo. It was released during the International Mass. They are planning and preparing for the video production. If any parishioner would like to financially support the video production please speak to Fr Stephen or call the office.

Fr Stephen Ojapah msp has written a book titled ‘Tears and Torture; 33 Days in Kidnappers Den’. The book will be launched formally on the 8th October at the University of Surrey in Guilford at 6pm. Parishioners who would like to attend should indicate by calling the parish office or email so we can see if a coach could be booked. If you wish to purchase a copy of the book (minimum donation £15) they will be available from a steward after Masses, the Repository or contact the office. The book is also available on Amazon.

Missio  a parish volunteer is needed. Please speak to Father if you might be interested.

Banns of Marriage  Lester Tony Travassa (Hampton Crescent, Gravesend) wishes to marry Bernice Ana Carvalho; if you have any objection to this marriage, please come and talk to the priests in the parish.

Youth Retreat The next Diocesan Youth Retreat for 13-17 year olds will be on Saturday 12 October at St. John Fisher School, City Way, Rochester, ME1 2AE. Wednesday Tea/Coffee  Refreshments are served in the Coffee bar after 12 noon Mass. All welcome.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Christ is really present in the Blessed Sacrament; come and talk heart to heart with Him, either on Wed (10am-12noon) or Sat after 10am Mass until 12.30pm; or 1st Friday 24 hour Adoration

Padre Pio Prayer Group each Tuesday  straight after 9.15am Mass in the Cry Chapel. All welcome to join us in prayer. We especially remember our sick friends and family.
