Baptism We welcome into our parish family Valerie Kaur Campbell who was baptized this weekend. Application forms for Baptism are available from the back of the Church or the parish office. Families need to attend a preparation session before the baptism (the next session is Monday 10th Feb @7pm). Please email the office.
Last weeks collections £1,220.25. This weekend we are holding an appeal for the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC) and there will be a second collection. Thank you for your continued generosity and to those people who pay by standing order and contactless.
Lourdes diocesan Pilgrimage 2025. Which will take place in August 22-28th. A meeting will take place at St Henry & St Elisabeth Church , 53 Broadway, Sheppey, ME121TS, at 2pm on Sat, Jan 25th, at the kind invitation of Fr Aklilu. This jubilee year is the perfect opportunity for us to travel together “on pilgrimage” with Our Lady of Lourdes. Bishop Paul Hendricks and Dcn John Fogarty will have lots of information about the pilgrimage to share with you on the day and we look forward to seeing you there. Christian Unity 18-25th January. The Church observes 8 days of prayer for Christian Unity
Foodbank. Thank you for your generous donations last weekend. We were able to deliver 178.1 kg of food & other essentials to help local families in need.
Missionary Society of St Paul will be celebrating their Silver Jubilee of serving in the UK. A special Mass will be held at St George’s Cathedral on Friday 14th February at 6.30pm. All are invited to this special occasion. We wish to thank you or your support and friendship. Please let the Priests or the office know if you would need transportation.
Archbishop John Wilson has written a new book entitled The Romero Rosary. With introductory chapters about St Oscar Romero and the rosary, this beautiful and creative new book contains reflections on the traditional mysteries of the rosary (Joy, Light, Sorrow & Glory) and the NEW Romero Mysteries (Charity, Compassion and Mercy, & Justice and Peace) – all illumined for reflection and prayer by the words of St Oscar Romero. Booking Mass Intentions: Envelopes for Masses are available at the back of the Church, write the intention and put the stipend in the envelope and hand to one of the priests or call at the presbytery between 10-2pm if you would like a specific mass. We cannot always allocate a Mass on the date requested as it may have already been booked, however, your Mass may be shared if you wish. Please do not use the Dona Machine for Mass stipends.
School Forms We will be available to sign school forms on Wed 22nd Jan between 2-4pm in the Presbytery. Please note that the day and times may change each week.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Christ is really present in the Blessed Sacrament; come and talk heart to heart with Him, either on Wed (10am-12noon) or Sat after 10am Mass until 12.30pm; or 1st Friday 24 hour Adoration.
Mother’s prayer group takes place straight after the 9.15 mass every Friday. You are invited to join us and pray for our children especially.
Padre Pio Prayer Group each Tuesday straight after 9.15am Mass in the Cry Chapel. All welcome to join us in prayer. We especially remember our sick friends and family.

Wednesday Teas You are welcome to come into the Coffee Bar after the 12 noon Mass on Wednesdays for refreshments and friendship.
Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion or call 07405803862. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in hospital & those who care for them and their families. Please, when on admission in the hospital or care home, volunteer the information of your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.
