Called to Bear Fruit The Archbishop’s pastoral letter to us last Sunday offers us great opportunities in our parish to foster hope, faith, joy and love. It is a call for us to start and develop Small Christian Communities. Most of us have neighbours in our locality who are/were Catholics. Do not be afraid to reach out to them, arrange a meeting to look at the booklet ‘Called to Bear Fruit’ together.

Archbishop’s Visit to our Parish (2nd March, 2025): Archbishop John Wilson will be celebrating the 10.30am Mass on the 2nd of March. This would offer us opportunity to meet and interact with our Chief Shepherd in the archdiocese.  As we are blessed with diverse nationalities, it will be good to celebrate the gifts that each of us bring to enrich the parish family. Would you like to present to the archbishop something unique to your culture to the archbishop at the end of the Mass?  Then please meet Fr Stephen or Fr Moses (for more clarification) by the 15th of February

Archbishop John Wilson has written a new book entitled The Romero Rosary. With introductory chapters about St Oscar Romero and the rosary, this beautiful and creative new book contains reflections on the traditional mysteries of the rosary (Joy, Light, Sorrow & Glory) and the NEW Romero Mysteries (Charity, Compassion and Mercy, & Justice and Peace) – all illumined for reflection and prayer by the words of St Oscar Romero. The book is available from Pauline Bookshops and online at www.paulineuk.org. The Archbishops warmly invites everyone to the book launch on Wednesday 12 February at 6.00 for 6.30pm at Amigo Hall, adjacent St George’s Cathedral, Southwark, South London. SE1 7HY.
