Called to Bear Fruit  Every parishioner/family is encouraged to take of copy of this book. Most of us have neighbours in our locality who are/were Catholics. Do not be afraid to reach out to them, arrange a meeting to look at the booklet. Indeed we are called to bear fruit abundantly. How are we doing prayerfully looking at the booklet either individually, as a family or with our neighbours? Well done to all who made efforts. May God’s Spirit guide us. Amen

Baptism We welcome into our parish family Isla Poppy Coyne who was baptized this weekend. Application forms for    Baptism are available from the back of the Church or the parish office. Families need to attend a preparation session     before the baptism (the next session is Monday 10th March @7pm). Please email the office.

Last weeks collections  £1,326.38. This week: there will be a second collection for Racial Justice. Next Week: A second collection for Clergy Support. The clergy in our Archdiocese have given so much and supporting priests in their retirement is one way to show your appreciation. Thank you for your continued generosity and to those people who pay by standing order and contactless.

Foodbank Thank you for your generous donations last weekend.  We were able to deliver 172kg of much needed food & other essentials to support local families. 

Old Palm Crosses There is a basket available at the back of the Church to collect old palm crosses which can be burnt and made into ash for Ash Wednesday 5th March.

Songs of Praise at St George’s Cathedral St George’s Cathedral is delighted to be working with Songs of Praise for their 2025 Easter Programme. If parishioners would like to be a part of it, they can apply for tickets through the parish office, which will take place on Saturday 15 March 2025 from 1-4pm.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Christ is really present in the Blessed Sacrament; come and talk heart to heart with Him, either on Wed (10am-12noon) or Sat after 10am Mass until 12.30pm; or 1st Friday 24 hour Adoration.

Hope in Adoration. As part of the Jubilee Year, Archbishop John is encouraging people to turn to the Lord Jesus in     Eucharistic adoration and have their hopes “fulfilled by Christ”. The campaign, Hope in Adoration, will share testimonies from parish priests and laity throughout the year on how Eucharistic adoration has helped them build a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus. Resources will also be made available for free and there is a comprehensive list of times of Eucharistic adoration in parishes across the Archdiocese. Find out more about the campaign at rcaos.org.uk/hopeinadoration. We are blessed to have 24 hour Adoration 1st Friday of the month.

KSC Council 977 Annual Dinner Dance and Fundraising 5th July 2025 at The Riverside Community Centre, Dickens Road, Gravesend DA12 2JY, Tickets: £30, 7-11pm. Dress code: This is a black tie event, Raffle Prizes to be won  on the night. For tickets please contact  Brother Michael Afeeva on 07958112644 or  a member of the Knights of St. Columba.

Booking Mass IntentionsEnvelopes for Masses are available at the back of the Church, write the intention and put the stipend in the envelope and hand to one of the priests or call at the presbytery between 10-2pm if you would like a specific mass. We cannot always allocate a Mass on the date requested as it may have already been booked, however, your Mass may be shared if you wish. Please do not use the Dona Machine for Mass stipends.

Wednesday Teas You are welcome to come into the Coffee Bar after the 12 noon Mass on Wednesdays for refreshments and friendship.

Padre Pio Prayer Group each Tuesday  straight after 9.15am Mass in the Cry Chapel. All welcome to join us in prayer. We especially remember our sick friends and family.

Divine Mercy Chaplet The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be online at 3pm Monday – Friday. Click here for how to join the online meetings as well as the prayers if you wish to say the Chaplet privately.

Come and Rest in Me  is a contemplative group that meets around the Word of God on Wednesdays 8-9pm. Click here for the zoom link.

Mother’s prayer group takes place straight after the 9.15 mass every Friday. You are invited to join us and pray for our children especially.

Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion or call 07405803862. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in hospital & those who care for them and their families. Please, when on admission in the hospital or care home, volunteer the  information of your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.
