Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion or call 07405803862. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in hospital & those who care for them and their families. Please, when on admission in the hospital or care home, volunteer the information of your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.

St John’s Primary School  As part of the School Culture Day celebration, parishioners are invited to a Whole School Mass at the Primary School, starting at 9am on Friday June 27th.

Thursday Mass  9.15am  Mass this Thursday 26th June will be held in the Church. There is no School Mass on that day.

Last weeks collections  £1,241.30. Day for Life £252.72.  Second collection next weekend for Peter’s Pence.Thank you for your continued generosity and to those people who pay by standing order and contactless.  Thanks also to our parishioners who have signed up for Gift  Aid, increasing their donations by 25% at no extra cost to them. We are ever so grateful.

Confirmation Certificates  are available for collection from the Sacristy after any Mass.

Baptism Application forms for  Baptism are available from the back of the Church or the parish office. Families need to attend a preparation session before the baptism (the next session is Monday 14th July @7pm). Please email the office.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Christ is really present in the Blessed Sacrament; come and talk heart to heart with Him, either on Wed 10.00-12 or Sat after 10am Mass until 12.30pm; or 1st Friday 24 hour Adoration.

Foodbank Thanks  We were able to deliver  152kg of  food and other essentials to help local families in need .Thank you as always for your support.

Altar Servers  New Servers are welcome to join us. For more information please speak to Fr Stephen, Fr Moses,  Graham or Jacky after any Mass.

KSC Council 977 Annual Dinner Dance and Fundraising 5th July 2025 at The Riverside Community Centre, Dickens Road, Gravesend DA12 2JY, Tickets: £30, 7-11pm. Dress code: This is a black tie event, Raffle Prizes to be won  on the night. For tickets please contact  Brother Michael Afeeva on 07958112644 or  a member of the Knights of St. Columba.

Padre Pio Prayer Group each Tuesday straight after 9.15am Mass in the Cry Chapel. All welcome to join us in prayer.  We especially remember our sick friends and family.

Wednesday Teas  Whilst the Coffee Bar is being refurbished there will be no  refreshments after Mass. We look forward to meeting again once the work is complete.

MSP Youth Event. MSP is inviting young people for a social and spiritual experience that includes sports, singing, games and prayers at St John’s Comprehensive School on Saturday 2nd August from 10.30am to 5pm.

Summertime 2025: 6th Aug – 9th Aug: Altar Servers Trip to Westminster Pastoral Centre, £189. For aged 11-16. We commend this excellent residential trip for altar servers and those who regularly attend mass on the weekend. In an event that has now gone on for more than 20 years, it is a few days for deepening one’s catholic faith, in a great social atmosphere, including football, sports and visit to Thorpe Park. Walk the Augustine Camino for Mary’s Meals  1 8 September. During this Jubilee Year we would be delighted if you joined us as Pilgrims of Hope on some or all of the Augustine Camino, starting at Rochester Cathedral, finishing at the Shrine of St Augustine in Ramsgate. Supporting Marriages in Southwark To celebrate Jubilee 2025 a one-day Building a Better Marriage event will be held during 2025. The day starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm.

Lourdes Pilgrimage  St Anselm’s Dartford Parish are organizing a pilgrimage to Lourdes from  October 27th – 30th  at a cost of £399 per person. More information and application forms are available at the back of the Church
