Stations of the Cross at St John’s Friday evening at 6.30pm (Confessions 5.30-6.15pm).

 Mothering Sunday We give thanks for all Mothers and Grandmothers and we remember Mary, the Mother of God who is also our Mother. Mother’s Day allow us to celebrate our Mothers and everything they do for us. A Mother’s love is our first experience of Gods love for us.

Parish Lenten Reconciliation/Confession Service  Please join us next Saturday 2nd April at 10am for Mass and Reconciliation service. We will also be welcoming Sr Elizabeth’s children, preparing for First Holy Communion, who will be making their First Confession at this service.

Fr John  We remember Fr John in our prayers and thank  him for his ministry with us as he prepares to go to a new parish in Manchester after Easter. We also congratulate him on      passing his driving test last week!

Baptisms  We welcome into our parish family Benjamin Jack Karnovski who was baptized this weekend.  Also Danny Coaker, Aston Bowyer, Anaya Alabi and Annabelle Alabi who were baptized on Saturday at the 10am Mass. Application forms for Baptism are available from a steward in the porch or the parish office. Dates for the baptism course can be seen in the porch. Please phone or email the office if you wish to attend.

Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Thank you to those people who were able to join us on Friday evening. Following recent heartfelt requests from Pope Francis, and Church leaders around the world, for an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine, and in reference to Our Lady of Fatima’s request in 1917, Pope Francis consecrated both countries to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on 25th March; the Feast of the Annunciation.

Solidarity with Ukrainian/Russian Refugees: Please, can you help with any requests or help with the care of refugees? Let us prepare and get a parish volunteer team.

First Friday – Hour of Mercy will be held in the Church this Friday 1st April. It will start at 2.30pm Rosary, 3pm Divine Mercy Chaplet and Exposition, 3.30pm Mass. All are welcome to join us.

Gift Aid Boxes will be available for collection at all Masses next weekend.

Altar servers Rally at The Friars, Aylesford on May Day bank holiday 2nd May. Archbishop John Wilson will celebrate Mass at 11.30am. Everyone is welcome to attend especially our servers, families and friends.

Mass OfferingsIf you would like to have a Mass offered for an intention, please fill in one of marked envelopes and hand to one of the priests or call at the presbytery between 10-2pm if you would like a specific mass. Please note that we cannot always allocate a Mass on the date requested as it may have already been booked, however, your Mass may be shared if you wish.

Wednesday Tea/Coffee  Come and join the fellowship after the 12 noon Mass on Wednesday.

Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to  receive Communion or call 07405803862. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in hospital & those who care for them.

School Forms  Fr John and Fr Moses will be available to sign school forms on Monday 1-4pm in the Presbytery.

Children’s liturgy – There will be Children’s liturgy on the first and third Sundays of the month. Why not consider helping to teach our children? Please contact the parish office or speak to Pip or one of the Priests.

Padre Pio Prayer Group each Tuesday  straight after 9.15am Mass in the Cry Chapel. All welcome to join us in prayer.

Mustard Seed  Meet every Friday @7.30pm to nourish their faith with the Word of God (link on parish website)
