St Peter and St Paul Thursday 29th June and is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses will be 9.15am (St John’s School), 12 noon and 7pm. There will be a collection for Peter’s Pence.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist & The Word Recollection for Eucharistic ministers and readers on the feast of St Peter and St Paul, Thursday 29th June at 6pm with Mass at 7pm.
The Relics of St. Columba will be coming to our parish on 29th June. There will be opportunities for parishioners to venerate the relics of St. Columba June after the 7pm evening Mass (for St. Peter and St. Paul).
Baptisms We welcome into our parish family Cooper Knight, Frank Ezeh Ogochukwu, Lucy Ezeh Ogochukwu and Mark Bezrodniy where was baptized this week. Application forms for Baptism are available from the back of the Church or the parish office. Families need to attend a talk before the baptism. Mass Intentions: If you would like to have a Mass offered for an intention, please fill in one of marked envelopes and hand to one of the priests or call at the presbytery between 10-2pm if you would like a specific mass. We cannot always allocate a Mass on the date requested as it may have already been booked, however, your Mass may be shared if you wish.
First Saturday Devotions to the Immaculate Heart of Mary On the first Saturday of each month a service will be held 11.30-12.30pm in the Church. It was first mentioned by Our Lady of Fatima on 13 July 1917. Everyone is welcome to join us in prayer next Saturday 1st July.
Knights of St Columba Dinner Dance & Fund Raising Saturday 15th July @ 5-9pm The funds raised will be vital particularly for Youth work. The tickets: £30 for couples and £20 for singles. There will be a grand raffle draw on the day with various great hampers and prizes. We are kindly requesting donations of hamper items including: wine, drinks, chocolates, etc. Venue: Riverside Centre, Dickens Road, Gravesend DA12 2JY. Mass in Celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage, Sept. 23rd, 3pm, at St George’s Cathedral If you are celebrating your 1st/10th/25th/40th/50th/60th + wedding anniversary this year, please let Fr Moses or the parish office know as soon as possible, and no later than the end of July, providing the following details: your names in the format John and Mary Smith, your email address, home address, the anniversary you are celebrating, so you can receive an invitation from the Archbishop for the renewal of vows during Mass.
Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion or call 07405803862. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in hospital especially Jude Mordi and Matthew Barron & those who care for them and their families. Please, when on admission in the hospital or care home, volunteer the information of your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.
