Stewardship Drive  We are each uniquely gifted, and called to serve the community with our talents; On April 28th, we shall collect your commitment cards.

Last weeks collections  £1257.15. Next weekend there will be a second collection for the Priest Training Fund. Thank you for your continued generosity and also to those people who pay by standing order and contactless. Or contact the parish office. Gift aid, standing order, bank details are available at the back of the Church.

Gift Aid Boxes Fortunately the boxes for this year have just arrived. You are welcome to use an envelope for your donation making sure your gift aid number is written on it. The new ones will be available for collection next week.

Baptism We welcome into our parish family Nnaemeka Nwachukwu & Ikedinachi Lemuel Anozie who were baptized this weekend. Application forms for Baptism are available from the back of the Church or the parish office. Families need to attend a talk before the baptism. Please phone/email the office if you wish to attend (Next session is Monday 13th May).

Wedding  Our prayers and congratulations to Indira da Costa Freire and Sergio Lumona on their wedding this weekend at St John’s. Please make an appointment to see the Parish Priest if you would like to get married at St John’s.

Foodbank We are collecting donations for the Foodbank at all masses this weekend. Stocks are very low, so all donations of tinned & packet food, toiletries & cleaning products will be greatly appreciated . Thank you.

Monthly Tea/Coffee -Today there will be tea and coffee served in the Coffee Room after 10.30 am Mass. You are most welcome to the Coffee bar after Mass for the refreshments and some social get-together.  

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Christ is really present in the Blessed Sacrament; come and talk heart to heart with Him, either on Wed (10am-12noon) or Sat after 10am Mass until 12.30pm.

 200 Club  March Winners 1st: £55 – Helen Perrin, 2nd:  £35 – Jacky Hardy, 3rd: £25 – Sunday Teas, 4th: £15 – Sr Helen Gallagher. We held the draw on Wednesday 3rd April in the Coffee Bar. Thank you for your support.

Wednesday Tea/Coffee  Refreshments are served in the Coffee bar after 12 noon Mass. All welcome.

Booking Mass IntentionsEnvelopes for Masses are available at the back of the Church, write the intention and put the stipend in the envelope. Please do not use the Dona Machine for Mass stipends.

School Forms We will be available to sign school forms on Wednesday between 1-3pm in the Presbytery. Please note that the day and times may change each week.

Altar servers Rally at The Friars, Aylesford on May Day bank holiday 6th May. Mass will be celebrated at 11.30am. Everyone is welcome to attend especially our servers, families and friends. Altar servers are encouraged to attend with family and friends.

Mass in Celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage July 13th 2024 at St George’s Cathedral If you are celebrating your 1st/10th/25th/40th/50th/60th + wedding anniversary this year, please let us know as soon as possible, and no later than May 31st 2024, providing the following details:  your names (ie John and Mary Smith), your home address, the anniversary you are celebrating, so you can receive an invitation from the Archbishop for the renewal of vows during Mass.  Spaces arelimited. Email: mflkent@rcaos.org.uk  As the title of your email, please write your parish location e.g. Gravesend, St Johns.

Padre Pio Prayer Group each Tuesday  straight after 9.15am Mass in the Cry Chapel. All welcome to join us in prayer. We especially remember our sick friends and family.

Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion or call 07405803862. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in     hospital & those who care for them and their families. Please, when on admission in the hospital or care home, volunteer the information of your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.
