Month of Creation  From 1st September to 4th October (feast of St Francis of      Assisi),  As a parish we shall hold a special Mass of Creation on Monday 1st Sept @7pm. During this season we are encouraged to pray and engage in community events in order to deepen our relationship with God, our neighbour and the earth we share, being ever more attentive to the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor.     Pope Leo stresses that environmental justice – implicitly proclaimed by the prophets – can no longer be regarded as an abstract concept or a distant goal.

International Mass & Thanksgiving for Fr Moses Our Annual International Mass Sunday 21st September 10.30am at   St John’s Catholic Comprehensive School. We are blessed with diverse nationalities in our parish. Let us celebrate our unity in diversity; let us proudly express our uniqueness through our cultural identities. There is a clipboard at the back of the Church for food and drink donations to share on the day.

10.30am Mass that day will be moved to the Comprehensive; there will  be no 9.30am Mass at Denton.

First Holy Communion Preparation for Children at Non Catholic Schools Application forms are now available at the back of the Church. Preparation classes start on Saturday 27th September attending the 10am Mass followed by a talk to children and parents in the coffee bar. Please return completed forms to the parish office or hand to one of the Priests before the first session.

St Paul’s Catholic Church Diamond Jubilee Invitation, Meopham is celebrating 60 years since it was opened. You are warmly invited this Sunday the 31st  August. It will be lovely to have you among us.

Baptism Application forms for  Baptism are available from the back of the Church or the parish office. Families need to  attend a preparation session before the baptism (the next session is Monday 8th September @7pm) or email the office. 

RCIA You are welcome to the Catholic Church Are you searching or want to review your faith or may be interested in joining the Catholic community, or wish to be Confirmed. A new course will start on Wednesday 1st October. Contact the office or speak to one of the priests. Leaflets are available at the back of the Church. God Bless.

Last weeks collections  £1,214.21. Thank you. Thanks also to our parishioners who have signed up for Gift  Aid, increasing their donations by 25% at no extra cost to them.

First Friday Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be held in the Church this Friday 5th September. It will start at 2.30pm with Rosary, 3pm Divine Mercy Chaplet and Exposition. Mass will be 3.45pm.  All are welcome to join us.

There will be 24hours continuous Adoration on Friday 5th September after 9.15am Mass until 10.00am Sat 6th.        If you are able, please sign the clipboard at the back of the Church so that we can be sure that there will always be someone with Our Lord.  Adoration also held on Wednesday 10-12 noon and Saturday 10.30-12.30pm

First Saturday Devotions to the Immaculate Heart of Mary  On the first Saturday of each month a service will be held  immediately after Mass in the Church. Everyone is welcome to join us in prayer next Saturday 6th September.

Mother’s prayer group takes place straight after the 9.15am mass every Friday. You are invited to join us and pray for our children especially.

Padre Pio Prayer Group each Tuesday straight after 9.15am Mass in the Cry Chapel. All welcome to join us in prayer.  We especially remember our sick friends and family.

Keep Fit  Everyone is welcome to join our gentle exercise class which will take place in the coffee bar each Wednesday. Exercises may be done seated or standing. 30 minutes £3 a session.

Service of Hope & Healing for those that have been harmed by abuse will be held at St Georges Cathedral on Wednesday 24th September at 6.30pm.

School Forms  Fr Moses will be available to sign school forms this Tuesday between 10am-12noon. Please ring on the Presbytery bell.

Divine Mercy Chaplet The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be online at 3pm Monday – Friday. Click here for how to join the online meetings as well as the prayers if you wish to say the Chaplet privately.

Come and Rest in Me  is a contemplative group that meets around the Word of God on Wednesdays 8-9pm. Click here for the zoom link.

Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion or call 07405803862. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in hospital & those who care for them and their families. Please, when on admission in the hospital or care home, volunteer the information of your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.

Please remember in your prayers our teachers, children and parents as the new school term begins.
