Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion or call 01474 352415. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in hospital & those who care for them and their families.

Please, when on admission in the hospital or care home, volunteer the information of your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.

PARISH BAZAAR

Our parish bazaar will be held next Saturday 22nd November at 12 noon 
St Johns Comprehensive School  Rochester Road DA12 2JW .
Christmas outfits optional! Father Christmas will be present for photographs,
The famous Wheel of Fortune, Tombola, Games, Toys, Gifts, Refreshments, Cakes,
World Foods, Repository and more. Bring your family and friends.
Fr Emmanuel & Fr Stephen look forward to welcoming you all to this lovely annual gathering.
There is still time to drop off any donations during the week.

Draw tickets are still available and the draw will take place at the Bazaar.

Thank you for all your very generous donations and support.

Fr Stephen will be leaving us 30th November. We wish him well in his new Parish. Next Sunday we will have a retiring collection to show our thanks. There will be a special Mass on Saturday 29th @ 6pm followed by refreshments in the coffee bar. All welcome.

Red Wednesday 19th November:  On this day we pray for Christians being persecuted for their faith in all parts of the world. Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) helps affected communities by advocating, funding clergy, building schools and supporting Christians forced to flee their homes. Wedding  Our prayers, congratulations and best wishes to Derek Forbes and Pauline Mbati on their wedding this weekend at St John’s. Please make an appointment to see the Parish Priest if you would like to get married at St John’s.

November Please collect an envelope and list deceased family & friends and place into the basket available on the altar. They will be remembered at all Masses during November and a Mass on 30th November.

Baptisms Application forms for  Baptism are available from the back of the Church or the parish office. Families need to attend a preparation session before the baptism (the next session is Monday 12th January @7pm) or email the office. 

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Christ is really present in the Blessed Sacrament; come and talk heart to heart with Him, either on Wed 10.00-12 or Sat after 10am Mass until 12.30pm; or 1st Friday 24 hour Adoration.

 Last weeks collections  £1,109.46, Archbishops Appeal £ 424.82. Thank you.Thanks also to our parishioners who have signed up for Gift  Aid & those who donate by contactless & standing order.

School Forms The priest will be available to sign school forms this Wednesday from 2–4pm.  Please ring on the            Presbytery bell.

Wintertime 2026: Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th January  Cost £139: This initiative is an offshoot of Summertime  2025. For altars servers and those who attend Sunday mass regularly aged 11 -15. See poster for details.  Forms are available, or you can contact Fr. Stephen Boyle, dartford@rcaos.org.uk.  It takes place at Westminster Pastoral centre, Pinner.

Children’s Liturgy  Children’s Liturgy returns in a new form after the summer break. We welcome children of age 4-8 to weekly sessions. Please, speak to a member of Children’s Liturgy team after 10.30 Sunday mass to find out more details.

Booking Mass Intentions:  Envelopes for Masses are available at the back of the Church, write the intention and put the stipend in the envelope and hand to one of the priests or call at the presbytery between 10-2pm if you would like a specific mass. We cannot always allocate a Mass on the date requested as it may have already been booked, however, your Mass may be shared if you wish.

RCIA You are welcome to the Catholic Church Are you searching or want to review your faith or may be interested in joining the Catholic community, or wish to be Confirmed. Contact the office or speak to one of the priests. Leaflets are available at the back of the Church.

Coffee Bar  Teas and coffee will be served after 12 noon Mass this Wednesday. Please come along for a friendly chat.

Padre Pio Prayer Group each Tuesday straight after 9.15am Mass in the Cry Chapel. All welcome to join us in prayer.  We especially remember our sick friends and family.

Mother’s prayer group takes place straight after the 9.15am mass every Friday. You are invited to join us and pray for our children especially.

Divine Mercy Chaplet The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be online at 3pm Monday – Friday. Click here for how to join the online meetings as well as the prayers if you wish to say the Chaplet privately.
