Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office (01474 352415) and let us know of neighbours/family members who are
unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or
in hospital & those who care for them and their families. When on admission in the hospital or care home, volunteer the information of
your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.

Father Joseph Smith The Mass on Monday to celebrate Fr Joe’s 60th anniversary of his Ordination has been postponed. Please remember Fr Joe in your prayers.

Baptisms We welcome into our parish family Antonio Michael Ficchi who was baptised this weekend. Application forms for Baptism are available from the Sacristy. Please see the Priest after Mass to ask for a form. Families need to attend a preparation session before the baptism (next session is Monday 13th July @7pm – parents only) or email the office.

Wedding Our prayers, congratulations and best wishes to Amie Jones and Samuel Ollington on their wedding this weekend at St John’s. Please make an appointment to see the Parish Priest if you would like to get married at St John’s. Six months notice is required.

Solape Badero RIP There will be Mass offered on Monday 15th June at 6.30pm for the peaceful repose of Solape.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Christ is really present in the Blessed Sacrament;come and talk heart to heart with Him, either on Wed 10.00-12 or Sat after loam Mass until 12.30pm; or 1st Friday 24 hour Adoration.

School Forms The priest will be available to sign school forms this Wednesday between 1-3pm. Please ring on the Presbytery bell.

Next Sunday: There will be a second collection for Day for Life. This day is dedicated to celebrating the sacredness of life. Thank you for your support and continued generosity. Thank you also to our parishioners who have signed up for Gift Aid increasing their donations by 25% at no extra cost to them, &those who donate by contactless & standing order. Servers Practice will take place at lpm on 20th June.

Foodbank We will be collecting this weekend 13/14th June. Most needed items are tinned custard, rice pudding, cold meat, baked beans, honey, peanut butter & longlife milk. Thank you for helping those in need.

Social Committee Would all those willing to help on a Social Committee and those on the WhatsApp group please come to a short meeting next Sunday 21st June after the 1 lam Mass.

KSC Council 977 Annual Dinner Dance and Fundraising Saturday 4th July 2026 at The Riverside Community Centre, Dickens Road, Gravesend DA12 2JY, Tickets: E30, 7-11 pm. Children’s Liturgy We welcome children of age 4-8 to weekly sessions at the llam Mass. Please, speak to a member of Children’s Liturgy team to find out more details

Padre Pio Prayer Group meet each Tuesday straight after 9.15am Mass in the Cry Chapel. All welcome to join us in prayer. We especially remember our sick friends and family.

Booking Mass Intentions: Envelopes for Masses are available at the back of the Church, write the intention (RIP, unwell, anniversary, thanksgiving etc) and put the stipend in the envelope and hand to one of the priests or drop into the Presbytery letterbox, or call at the presbytery between 10-2pm if you would like a specific mass. We cannot always allocate a Mass on the date requested as it may have already been booked, however, your Mass may be shared if you wish.

The Book Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm for an hour in the church coffee bar. All are welcome. Free entry and free refreshments. Next meeting 8th July; come and talk about your own choice of book. Organised by Gravesham with Ebbsfleet Rotary.

Stamps Sister Delores is collecting stamps for the RNIB. Please place any donations in the box at the back of the Church. Thank you for the recent donation of stamps -. there have been some very interesting ones.
