Missionaries of St Paul (MSP) Day celebration at Our Lady of the Rosary, Brixton, on Friday, 23rd January 2026, at 6:30pm, with a reception to follow. We are all invited to support the clergy.

Fr Emmanuel’s Induction Mass  Please save the date: Sunday 22nd February 2026 at 11am Mass. Bishop Paul will be celebrating this very special Mass. We will hold a meeting for everyone who is able to get involved soon.

Book Club next meets Wednesday 14th January at 7pm in the church coffee bar.  Free refreshments.  All welcome!

Baptisms Application forms for Baptism are available at the back of the Church or the parish office. Families need to attend a preparation session before the baptism (the next session is Monday 12th January @7pm) or email the office.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Christ is really present in the Blessed Sacrament; come and talk heart to heart with Him, either on Wed 10.00-12 or Sat after 10am Mass until 12.30pm; or 1st Friday 24 hour Adoration.

School Forms The priest will be available to sign school forms this Wednesday from 1–2pm. Please ring on the Presbytery bell.

St John’s Primary School  If your child is due to start Primary School in September 2025, the closing date for applications is 15th January. Please ensure you have completed the on line process with KCC: www.kent.gov.uk/primaryadmissions to register and apply. You will need to make an application to the school of your choice. Please pop into the school office to collect our Supplementary Information form or download: https://www.stjohnsprimary.kent.sch.uk/admissions If your child is not of the Catholic faith, the “Reference for Faith Membership” page on the Supplementary form will need to be countersigned by your Priest / Pastor or at your place of worship. .Please bring the completed Supplementary Information form, along with your child’s evidence of Christian Baptism / Dedication and full birth certificate into the school office.

School Nursery We will be holding a tour of our nursery on the following dates :- Monday 19th January 3.30 – 4.15pm stay and play session with a talk from the EYFS lead. Thursday 22nd January and Thursday 29th January – small group tours at 9.30am and 10 am – Please contact the school office to book. If you would like to apply for a nursery place from September 2026, we ask that you: Register your interest website https://www.stjohnsprimary.kent.sch.uk/admissions. Your child MUST have reached their third birthday by 31/08/2026 to apply. Closing date for all nursery applications is the 30th April.

Children’s Liturgy  We welcome children of age 4-8 to weekly sessions at the 10.30am Mass. Please, speak to a member of Children’s Liturgy team to find out more details.

Foodbank We will be collecting donations for the Foodbank at all Masses this weekend. Thank you for your support for local families in need.

Booking Mass Intentions:  Envelopes for Masses are available at the back of the Church, write the intention and put the stipend in the envelope and hand to one of the priests or call at the presbytery between 10-2pm if you would like a specific mass. We cannot always allocate a Mass on the date requested as it may have already been booked, however, your Mass may be shared if you wish.

Padre Pio Prayer Group each Tuesday straight after 9.15am Mass in the Cry Chapel. All welcome to join us in prayer.  We especially remember our sick friends and family.

Mother’s prayer group takes place straight after the 9.15am mass every Friday. You are invited to join us and pray for our children especially.

Divine Mercy Chaplet The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be online at 3pm Monday – Friday. Click here for how to join the online meetings as well as the prayers if you wish to say the Chaplet privately.

Come and Rest in Me  is a contemplative group that meets around the Word of God on Wednesdays 8-9pm. Click here for the zoom link.

Stamps  Sister Delores is collecting stamps for the RNIB. Please place any donations in the box at the back of the Church.

Sick/housebound Please contact the parish office and let us know of neighbours/family members who are unable to come to Church and would like to receive Communion or call 01474 352415. We remember in our prayers those who are sick, housebound or in hospital & those who care for them and their families.

Please, when on admission in the hospital or care home, volunteer the information of your faith as you won’t be asked ordinarily.
